About Vaudeville

The moment the softly muted chatter blends with the clink of glassware, the mood established feels both intimate and unpretentious. The subtle lighting and tasteful décor set the scene for a meal that invites lingering rather than rushing. Scanning through available Vaudeville + photos offers a glimpse of the aesthetic balance between tradition and modernity, capturing an atmosphere that complements the thoughtful layout of the kitchen’s offerings. However, occasional lapses in acoustics can challenge quieter conversations, slightly detracting from the overall dining atmosphere. Yet, this interplay between environment and experience remains undeniably compelling.

Exploring the Vaudeville + menu unveils a selection that leans toward contemporary cuisine with interesting nods to local flavors. Dishes frequently combine unexpected textures and creative pairings, reflecting a kitchen unafraid to experiment while remaining grounded in quality ingredients. The presentation, often meticulously composed, elevates the dining frame without overshadowing taste. While some plates might edge toward subtle complexity, there is a consistent attention to balance. Reviews from past diners reveal appreciation for the innovative approach, though a few note that the portions could be more generous considering the pricing. The kitchen’s willingness to push culinary boundaries provides a refreshing contrast to more conventional options in the area.

Customer interactions at this restaurant reflect a team eager to assist without imposing, though moments of uneven pacing in service occasionally surface. The attentiveness is present but at times struggles amid busier hours. Considering details from various Vaudeville + reviews, the consistency of visitor experience can vary, hinting at opportunities for refinement in flow and timing. Despite this, the overall value manages to feel justified, particularly given the quality of ingredients and creativity delivered. For those browsing for a distinctive dining outing, glimpses into the restaurant’s rhythm through online feedback establish a narrative of both ambition and charm, weaving the total experience into a cohesive impression that lingers after the last course is enjoyed.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vaudeville in Ghent with a group of 11 friends, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From start to finish, our visit was filled with delightful moments. First and foremost, the service at Vaudeville was top-notch. The manager was not only attentive but also incredibly friendly and helpful. They made our dining experience even more enjoyable with their warm hospitality. Now, onto the highlight of the evening - the food. Vaudeville offers a delectable selection of dishes that catered to a variety of tastes within our group. The Chicken Casserole was an absolute favorite, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The pork stew, broiled to perfection with a hint of wine, was a mouthwatering delight. The vol-Au-vent was another standout dish, impressing us with its superb flavors. However, the real star of the show was the mussels. Generous portions and exceptional taste left us all craving for more. Although Vaudeville may be considered a tad pricey by some, it's worth mentioning that we shared our meals, making it a reasonable option for a group of 11. Our bill totaled euro 210 without alcohol, which we felt was justified given the memorable and satisfying meal we enjoyed. In addition to the outstanding food and service, the restaurant's ambiance added to the overall charm of the evening. We left Vaudeville with full hearts and satisfied palates, making it a dining experience in Ghent that we'll cherish and remember for a long time. If you're in the area and looking for an exceptional meal, Vaudeville should be at the top of your list.

Brasserie in the heart of Ghent. Belgium is an expensive place, but this place in the middle of the tourist belt can be deem expensive. Friendly service. Good food. The sole was fresh and expertly cooked. The mussels were prepared in a delicious wine sauce. No complaints except for the cost.

Can’t fault Vaudeville! The reviews are not positive but I couldn’t find anything to complain about! As long as you’re not expecting fine dining food then this place rocks! Great location, staff are sweet and friendly, the food was way better than expected great size and packed with flavour! Nothing was out of place or worth complaining about!

Food is very delicious in most of the menus. We are surprised that the fgoogle rating is not good but it’s far better than expectation.

Shared a very late lunch/early dinner with friends during Gentse Feest. Despite lower reviews, we found the meal and service to be very good. The menu is pretty traditionally Belgian. We had stoverij (stoofvlees), mussels and vispannetje. The portions were more than enough, and all dishes were tasty. The frietjes were plentiful, but the quality is pretty good (not amazing). The prices, in my opinion, are a bit high for the offering. With that said, we enjoyed our experience.
